Beschreibung:
Evelyn Salt genießt bei der CIA den Ruf, eine der besten Agentinnen des Geheimdienstes zu sein. Loyalität und Patriotismus stehen bei ihr an erster Stelle. Niemand würde ihre Integrität infrage stellen. Bis ein Überläufer sie beschuldigt, eine russische Spionin zu sein. Salt setzt sich ab. Während sie ihre Fähigkeiten einsetzt, um ihre Verfolger zu täuschen und abzuschütteln, müht sie sich darum, ihre Unschuld zu beweisen. Damit bewirkt sie aber nur das Gegenteil.
